On October 31, 2008, AOL removed all of their member's web pages and blogs. I have not actually been updating my AOL sites very much the last few years, but did not want them to be lost forever, so I moved them to my mac.com site. Over time, I created three separate AOL pages because of the original AOL limit of 2 megs total file size per screen name, having quickly exceeded the file limit of my first website (GCGassaway). Later they allowed 20 megs, but I had already created the other two sites. Rather than totally revamp the old AOL pages, I have updated most of the links which were busted by the move. I hope by now I have found the busted links that originally went from one AOL site to another AOL site. I have not attempted to update my old "links" page. Also, the videos links have been busted, as I am in the process of changing the host for the videos. I have added three links on the top of each old AOL page, as seen above. The three text links are for moving between the three AOL sites. When you are in one of the three old AOL web page sites, one of the three text links above will be RED. I am working up a totally new website, still in Beta and not complete, which I will announce soon. |
