The Federation Aeronautique International (FAI) is the governing world body, covering not only spacemodeling and aeromodeling, but all aspects of aviation. For Model Rocketry every two years, the World SpaceModeling Championships (WSMC) is held. As with the Olympics, official FAI Medals are awarded.
