A few photos of the 1998 Discovery mission that John Glenn flew aboard. Discovery's first mission after changing the markings to the NASA "Meatball". Mission also used a light ET. The "sunburning" effect can be seen, where the ET areas exposed the most to sunlight is darker and ET shaded by the pad's RSS is lighter in color.
